¡Madrileños, el Mono les pide desculpas por la falta de fotos de su ciudad! The Monkey spent a number of days in Madrid but really dropped the ball on the photography front (he was too busy sipping Anís del Mono in dark bars). But El Mono couldn't resist a visit to El Prado, Madrid's most famous museum, and without doubt one of the finest in the world. He sat for this shot before going in to see a Goya exhibit.
The Monkey was rather bemused by this emphatic warning to the madrileño dogs to keep clear. He decided to get a photo with the "Perros No" sign, but stresses that his participation in this photograph in no way endorses any anti-dog positions.
The Monkey's not sure where in Spain he encountered this bizarre piece of urban planning, but he's certainly happy he stopped for this photo with the dog toilet! ¡Adios España—hasta la proxima visita!
